Profile
I am eager to work as part of a team to create dynamic and innovative Web sites and Web applications. I enjoy learning new technologies and exploring the Internet as a communication tool. My strength in creating and maintaining back-end systems using PHP and MySQL is complimented by my working knowledge of design and information architecture. I especially enjoy building community-oriented Web applications. (eg. StoryEverTelling.com and MeettheGIMP.org.)
I live with my wife and our two year old son in rural Ontario, Canada. I was raised with a strict work ethic: "A job worth doing is worth doing well." and "Everyone works until the job is done." I find recreation in photography, reading, music, family, and perhaps too many hours with computers.
My experience with Apple, Microsoft and GNU/Linux operating systems, both desktop and server, enables me to quickly learn nearly any type of software. I have developed Web sites, ranging from brochure to e-commerce, for domestic and international clients. Visit my portfolio for samples of my work.
